Plynlimmon Guitars

Way back in 1979, I kicked off my first ever tour as a young 18-year-old roadie. Since then, I’ve had the chance to work with some great artists, like Kirk Brandon’s Theatre of Hate and Spear of Destiny, and, of course, Mick Jones’s Big Audio Dynamite, where I worked from 1984 to 1997. That’s when I really started focusing on guitar maintenance along with repairs and set ups. After that, I went out on my own and worked with artists such as Chris Rea, Squeeze, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Manic Street Preachers, and many more. Click here for my online CV.

From the road to the workshop

More recently, I’ve been working with Mick again in his studio and archive facility, the Rock ’n’ Roll Public Library. I’m still touring, and I just wrapped up a 5 week stint with Shania Twain. Even though my touring days are winding down, I’m now starting a new chapter where I’ll be repairing and setting up guitars and equipment for the general public. Based mainly in the Hastings area, I can travel to do set-ups and work frequently in London, while still taking on tour work.
